Free Program Focuses on Body Contouring After Weight Loss

WATERBURY, Conn. (April 11, 2016) ─ Saint Mary’s Hospital is sponsoring a free program, “Body Contouring After Weight Loss” on Monday, April 18 at 6 p.m. in the hospital’s Conference Center. Guest speaker Prasad Sureddi, MD, who is a board-certified plastic surgeon, will discuss surgical and non-surgical options for body contouring following weight loss due to diet, exercise, or following surgical weight loss. Participants will learn about procedures designed to improve the form and function of the face, breasts, abdomen and extremities. The program is open to the public. Admission and parking are free. Dr. Sureddi received his medical degree from Osmania University in India. He completed his residency in general surgery at the Yale-affiliated surgical program at the Hospital of Saint Raphael’s and his residency in plastic and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Texas medical branch in Galveston, Texas. Dr. Sureddi also completed his post-doctoral fellowship in plastic surgery at Yale University and a fellowship in cosmetic surgery in Miami, Florida.

He has been recognized as a “Top Doctor” by Connecticut Magazine for the past six consecutive years. Dr. Sureddi is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and served as President of the Waterbury Medical Association, the New Haven County Medical Association, the Connecticut Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and the Connecticut Association of Physicians of Indian Origin.
