Free Seminar to Focus on Alleviating Neck and Back Pain

WATERBURY, Conn. (April 8, 2026) ─ Is neck or back pain getting in the way of your life? Saint Mary’s Hospital is sponsoring a free seminar focused on how to alleviate neck and back pain featuring specialists from Neurosurgery, Orthopaedic & Spine Specialists (NOSS) on Thursday, April 21 at 6 p.m. in Room GO 2 A&B of the hospital’s Conference Center.

Special guest speakers Tamer Ghaly, MD, pain management specialist, David Forshaw, MD, neurosurgeon, and John Strugar, MD, neurosurgeon, will discuss how to manage acute and chronic pain, what to expect at your doctor’s appointment, and how to prevent pain from worsening or re-occurring after treatment. They will discuss the latest treatment options, from noninvasive and nonsurgical approaches to advanced surgical procedures.
