Yueming Chang, M.D., Ph.D., Joins Saint Mary’s Hospital Oncology Center

(October 5, 2016)Yueming Chang, M.D., Ph.D., a hematologist-oncologist specializing in gastrointestinal, lung, breast, prostate, kidney and testicular cancers, and blood cancers, particularly chronic lymphocytic leukemia, has joined Saint Mary’s Hospital and Franklin Medical Group. Dr. Chang has joined Joseph Bowen, M.D., and Consuelito Medrano, M.D., in practice at Saint Mary’s Hospital Oncology Center, 1075 Chase Parkway, Suite A, Waterbury.

Dr. Chang received her medical degree from Dalian Medical University, China, and her Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry from Ohio State University in Columbus. Dr. Chang completed her residency in internal medicine at Saint Mary’s Hospital and a fellowship in medical oncology and hematology at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Chang is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
