WATERBURY, Conn. (April 6, 2017) ─ It’s that time of year again – time to Sparkle! Saint Mary’s Spirit of Women network is pleased to announce its signature women’s health event, “Sparkle 2017,” will be held on Wednesday, May 10 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville. This event is designed for women of all ages to promote a healthy mind, body and spirit.

Saint Mary’s is the state’s only Spirit of Women member hospital and its participant network has grown to more than 1,850 women since its inaugural Sparkle women’s health event was held in May 2015. Now in its third year, Sparkle offers women the opportunity to connect with more than 40 great community resources. Guests can find solutions to their skin care, stress-reduction, fitness and nutrition needs—and even get some healthy and delicious ideas to address the age-old question of what to make for dinner! There will be complimentary chair massages and women can indulge in some one-on-one time with Saint Mary’s community physicians, who will be available to answer individual health questions during “Dessert with the Docs.”

Admission is $10 and includes a buffet dinner from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and "Dessert with the Docs" from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Please note this event, like all of Saint Mary’s Spirit of Women events, will sell out in advance. Pre-registration is required. Register online at stmh.org or call 203-709-3312.
