- If your Doctor has ordered an outpatient diagnostic test which requires scheduling, you will receive a call from our Central Scheduling Department who will work with you to schedule your appointment. If you have multiple testing to be done they will coordinate your testing appointment to be the most convenient for you. If you have any questions you may call the Central Scheduling Department at 203-709-8601.
- A few days prior to your appointment you will receive a call from a Patient Access Representative who will pre-register you over the telephone. You will be asked demographic and insurance information. To facilitate the process, please have your insurance card available. At this time you will be instructed where to report on the day of testing. If you do not receive this call you may call the Pre-registration department at (203) 709-8801.
- Please be sure to bring a copy of all insurance cards and photo identification at the time of your appointment.
- If your doctor gave you a written order for the testing, please be sure to bring it with you on the day of your testing.
- You will be notified at the time of pre-registration of any co-payments and/or deductibles that your insurance carrier may require. As per your insurance agreement, payment is expected at the time of service. (see Insurance Responsibility) If you are pre-registered you will be asked to stop in the Cashiers office located near the main lobby to make your payment. If you would like to discuss payment, you may speak to a financial counselor by calling (203) 709-7741. (see Financial Assistance).
- Free parking is provided for outpatients in our visitors garage on Cole Street or the Franklin Street lot.
