Polysomnographic Positions

For many patients their quest towards healthy sleep begins with a polysomnogram and the polysomnographic technologist  who performs the test.  Polysomonographic technologists at Saint Mary’s Sleep Disorders Center have an integral role in the overall diagnosis and treatment of  sleeping disorders and have an important role in maximizing patient compliance with treatment modalities, such as CPAP.

There are two levels of Polysomnographic techs:

  • Polysomnographic Technician must be RPSGT exam eligible. Please refer to BRPT or AAST websites for current eligibility requirements.

  • Polysomnographic Technologist requires current RPSGT credential and CPR.
