The William Finkelstein Health Sciences Library under the direction of a full time qualified medical librarian offers 24/7 access to a comprehensive array of print and electronic knowledge-based resources to meet the clinical and research needs of its users.

The library houses 3,000 medical texts and subscribes to approximately 270 print journals. Electronic resources available on Saint Mary’s Intranet include over 140 electronic journals, Pubmed, Ovid’s Medline and CINAHL, UpToDate , StatRef! and other electronic textbooks. Several consortial agreements throughout the U.S. provide prompt document delivery for those materials not available in-house. Six workstations in the library also provide general Internet access and Microsoft Office. To further meet the informational needs of library patrons, the medical librarian offers small group workshops and one-on–one consultations on database searching and bibliographic instruction.
