Michael C. Matzkin, DDS, Chairman of the Department of Dentistry at Saint Mary’s Hospital, is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He completed his internship at Metropolitan Hospital in New York, his post-graduate didactic at Boston University School of General Dentistry and his residency at Harlem Hospital Medical Center in New York. He is a former president of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Board-certified by the American Board of Oral Surgery, Dr. Matzkin is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He has served on the editorial board of the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and as a section editor since 1993. He has served as president of the medical staff at Saint Mary’s Hospital since 1995.

Lance E. Kisby, DMD, Chief of Pediatric Dentistry at Saint Mary’s Hospital, graduated from Bridgewater State College and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He completed his two-year pediatric dental residency at the Floating Hospital in Boston.

Board-certified in pediatric dentistry, Dr. Kisby is a clinical instructor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and an associate editor of the Journal of Clinical Pediatric Dentistry.
