Debra Coughlan, outreach coordinator, Gloria Ouelette, RN, MSN, and Nancy Baranowski, project director for the Connecticut Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program at Saint Mary’s Hospital, present a gift basket to April Bailey of Waterbury, the 2,000th woman to enroll in the program.

The Connecticut Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program at Saint Mary’s Hospital provides free mammograms for women who are age 40 or older and have little or no health insurance. From October 2006 to September 2007, the program provided 274 free mammograms and 267 free pap tests. For information, call the Family Health Center at (203) 709-3800.
