Children need a special kind of medical care, plus extra
TLC to ease their fears - and those of their parents. Our
recently renovated pediatrics department is designed with
children in mind, from brightly decorated hallways to a playroom
chock full of toys. We have pediatricians on staff 24 hours
a day. In fact, our Pediatric Emergency Care is headed by
one of the few board-certified pediatric emergency physicians
in the state. That's an important reason childhood emergencies
are treated more than 14,000 times a year in our Emergency
Department. Because Saint Mary's would rather not see your
kids in the hospital at all, we offer a wide variety of safety
and educational classes for youngsters and their parents.
We'll help you prevent or cope with childhood illness, manage
CPR for children, and even help young ones welcome a new
brother or sister into the family. Remember, we treat your
children like children. After all, isn't that what they deserve?
