Pulmonary Rehabilitation

There are many facets to our Pulmonary Medicine Department, highlighting how crucial lung function is for people of all ages. At Saint Mary's, we're doing everything we can to meet the complicated medical and emotional needs caused by emphysema, asthma, chronic bronchitis and other lung diseases. Our services range from prevention and education, to inpatient and outpatient care, to support groups where people can share their experiences and feelings with others. We even conduct screenings for job-related lung problems. Through our outreach programs, we go directly into the community and provide services such as respiratory therapy in nursing homes. And our state-of-the-art rehab clinic, combined with the Cardiology Department, can help people return to the normal activities of daily living.
