Saint Mary’s Hospital offers many options for blood draw and laboratory services with locations throughout Greater Waterbury. Our caring, experienced phlebotomists make the process of drawing blood and labs safe, efficient and customer-friendly. 

Our community laboratory services include:

  • Blood draw services
  • Urinalysis
  • Stool testing

We accept most major insurance plans. When you need laboratory services simply visit one of our convenient locations; appointments are not required. Blood testing and X-rays are also available at Saint Mary’s Urgent Care Centers

One Stop Testing at Saint Mary’s Hospital

One-Stop Testing Hours

Monday: 6AM–6PM
Tuesday: 6AM–6PM
Wednesday: 6AM–6PM
Thursday: 6AM–6PM
Friday: 6AM–6PM

If you are having a surgical or outpatient procedure, you may need to visit One Stop Testing in the hospital as part of your pre-admission testing. Our state-of-the-art facility offers a full range of laboratory testing services for patients of all ages, including young children. We offer:

  • Blood draw services (with the ability to draw from PICC lines and ports)
  • X-rays
  • EKG

Some lab tests also must be done in the hospital at our One Stop Testing Department. Such tests include:

One Stop Testing Procedures

To access One Stop Testing, bring your insurance card and a photo ID to the Patient Registration & Testing Center on the first floor of the hospital (to the right of the lobby). After completing your registration paperwork, you will be directed to the One Stop Testing waiting area. You can expect to spend about one hour for tests.
