Requirements for a position in Social
Work at Saint Mary's:
Masters Degree in Social work from an accredited
School of Social work required. Must be license eligible or
working toward licensure. State of Connecticut Social Work
license preferred. Must adhere to the National Association
of Social Work Code of Ethics.
Saint Mary's has three full time Social
Workers and one part time evening Social Worker. Flexi-Staff
for weekend and holiday coverage. Inpatient Social Workers
work through out the hospital and although each has assigned
areas, all Social Workers cross cover in all areas including
the Emergency Department and out-patient treatment areas
within the hospital setting.
