- The diagnostic imaging department
provides both in-patient and out-patient imaging
services.
- With over twelve diagnostic imaging
exam rooms, the department provides services which
include, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, CT
scanning , interventional, mammography, and computed
radiography.
- St. Mary’s Hospital is
dedicated to provide the community with some of
the most advanced technology in diagnostic imaging,
this is evident in our 16 slice CT scanner, our
filmless computed radiography system, and our picture
archive communication system (PACS) as examples.
- All Radiologic technologists
within the imaging department are certified by
the American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists, and licensed by the
State of Connecticut. Additionally many of the
technologists possess advanced registration in
other modalities such as ultrasound, nuclear medicine,
CT, and mammography.
